In classic action side-scrolling game fashion, Chopper puts you in control of a military helicopter which you need to fly through different levels and landscapes, destroying as many enemies along the way as you can and avoiding enemy fire. You'll have with you a complete arsenal of machine gun, missiles and bombs to take care of the soldiers, tanks, jets and other enemies getting in your path.
The graphics are nothing short of impressive, even though Chopper is a rather simple gaming concept. You'll travel through every sort of landscape, from snowy valleys to jungles or hostile urban territory. We liked how the weather changes, with helicopter having to go through missions under pouring rain or heavy snow fall sometimes. The game features 60 different levels, and it will constantly generate random elements, so you never really know how many enemies will pop out or from where they'll be coming.
On the whole Chopper is good fun and brings back fond memories of classic side scrolling shoot-em-ups. The game can get a little repetitive after a while but luckily the graphics are really nice and Chopper doesn't require any advanced controls.
